Shenzhen has been promoting the deeper integration of the innovation, industrial, and talent chains, aiming to become a magnet for all kinds of talented people from around the world.

Four major national strategic platforms have been built, namely, the Guangming Science City, the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone, the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone, and the Xili Lake International Science and Education City, which have become new growth engines for science and technology innovation.

As of December 2022, Shenzhen has organized 24 regular exhibitions, with 16 of them selected as Shenzhen brand names, and has 17 enterprises certified by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.
